Late Sleep

@tenderheart (Oleg) writes music in extraordinary circumstances. Living in Ukraine during the ongoing war, his daily life is marked by drone attacks, air raid sirens, and blackouts. Yet out of this atmosphere of constant tension, he continues to create warm, melodic, and deeply human electronic music.

His upcoming album Thirst for Change brings together 6–7 tracks written between 2024 and 2025. They are bound by a concept Oleg had decided on years earlier: to craft atmospheric music that feels like a soundtrack for a walk through the forest. The journey changes, but the atmosphere remains one: melancholic, calm, and reflective. Though created to the backdrop of sirens and explosions, the tracks do not dwell on despair. Instead, they capture his inner state and a longing for peace.

Late Sleep is a perfect example that reflects his unique perspective: that music is not just escape, but survival. A way to transform fear into hope and to hold on to beauty even in the darkest times.
